According to the General Hospital spoilers, Jason Morgan could return to Port Charles. Fans have been hearing his name thrown around a lot lately. This could hint that he’s returning to the ABC daytime soap.
The user 24Kasie76 posted on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards: “Jason’s name has been mentioned more lately. Would you like for Jason to return? I miss Steve Burton, handsome talented self.”
Fans took to the thread to react. “I can only hope Jason returns and it’s Steve and no one else,” one user declared.
“Unfortunately this will never happen. Despite Kristin Alfonso and Peter Reckell’s arc being completed they’ve found him something else to do with Tamara Braun of all people. Seems like he has an easy schedule too,” another user noted.
“That’s a hard no for me. As far as him being mentioned – even if we knew he wasn’t going to come back is always going to have a hold on the storylines and characters. I think he will always be mentioned randomly for years to come,” a third user noted.
The General Hospital spoilers suggest that Steve Burton isn’t returning to the show. The fans wouldn’t want to see him return unless this gives Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to settle down in their relationship.
Jason was still in love with Carly when he died. She loved him though, even when she still loved Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard). Since Carly and Drew are happy with one another, it wouldn’t make sense for Jason to return.

It all started when Wally Kurt suggested in a podcast interview that Burton could return sometime.
Burton later shared an update on his Instagram page. It was a cryptic message that had the fans wondering if there was any truth to the rumors.
“Change is a part of life. Change is good. Change is perspective,” Steve Burton wrote. “Change is growth. Change is inevitable. Embrace it. Change the internal for the better and the external things that happen won’t matter so much.”
