General Hospital Update: Friday, June 23 – Mystery Brings Questions, New Deal Struck and a Surprising Alliance

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, June 23, reveals that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will struggle to hold back her fury in court. Carly will be an emotional wreck over Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) being forced to spend multiple years at Pentonville instead of mere months at Spring Ridge.

Although Carly will try to object, Drew will encourage her to calm down.

Judge Kim may offer a warning of his own and remind Carly that she could be held in contempt of court if this keeps up.

Drew will think it’s too late to undo the damage, so he’ll feel forced to go along with the new plea deal terms – even if it breaks his heart to think of spending even more time away from Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante).

Meanwhile, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will pump Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) for details on his mysterious client’s identity, but he’ll work to keep Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) secret.

Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will also get a chance to catch up with Martin and enjoy some romantic moments with him, so she’ll sing his praises during their quality time together.

At GH, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) will rush to Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) defense and order Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) to stop trashing her.

Alexis has been offering some helpful advice regarding Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), so Gregory will think Tracy needs to thank her for the input, not insult her intelligence.

Of course, Tracy will make it clear that she’ll say whatever she wants to anyone she pleases!

This will be none of Gregory’s business as far as Tracy’s concerned, so she’ll think he needs to butt out.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will push Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) to get to the bottom of Ned’s issues.

Although Kevin will talk to Ned and assess his mental state, he won’t have positive updates once he’s done.

Olivia, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will get bad news instead, so Kevin may confess he’s not sure “Eddie Maine” will ever return to normal.

Since “Eddie” will remain all riled up, he’ll get some medication to calm him in his hospital bed.

That’ll leave “Eddie” wary of whatever they’re giving him since he’s pretty much suspicious of everyone and everything right now.

At The Savoy, Nina will try to make Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) see that they’re allies.

Love and safety are certainly priorities for them both, so Nina will highlight the similarities between them in a private chat.

Dex may assure Nina that he’ll continue to protect Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to the best of his abilities.

That’s part of Dex’s secret agreement with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), so Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) has accepted the situation, too.

Josslyn will apparently call a truce of some sort with Sonny on Friday’s episode.

Although Joss may never be a huge fan of Sonny’s, she can respect that Dex will remain his employee and stop harassing him about it.

General Hospital spoilers say Sonny and Josslyn will strike a deal, so they may agree to keep the peace – especially now that Michael’s called a truce of his own with his father.
