General Hospital’s Jon Lindstrom Sends a Heartfelt Message to Fans: ‘It’s Been the Ride of My Life’

Jon Lindstrom knew that he wouldn’t be the first to acknowledge the 60th anniversary of General Hospital. In fact, he might be near the tail end of the well-wishers. But he was OK with that. Just “think of me as a late arrival to a really good party,” he suggested.

With that, the actor, who joined the cast in 1992 as the diabolical Ryan Chamberlain, got down to business. “I just wanted to wish all my friends and colleagues at General Hospital a happy 60th anniversary,” he said. “It’s been a real blessing and honor to be able to make television with all of you.

“And most of all, to all the fans of General Hospital who have kept us on the air longer than any other scripted show in history,” he added. “Well! Pat yourselves on the back for that. Thank you. We love you all. We wouldn’t be here without you.”

Lindstrom, as you well know, was given a second General Hospital character in 1993: Ryan’s thankfully less murderous twin brother, Kevin Collins, who proved so popular that he was spun off to Port Charles in 1997. Summing up his experience in the roles in his Instagram post, he said that “it’s been the ride of my life.”

General Hospital Spoilers: Week of February 27 – Willow’s Last Survival Chance – Ava’s Awful Predicament – Heather’s Outburst

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of February 27 to March 3 tease that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will confront Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) for keeping Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) secret. It’ll feel like another betrayal, but Portia will catch Jordan off guard with her response.

This wasn’t Jordan’s story to tell, so she doesn’t deserve Curtis’ backlash.

Jordan is the one who kept pushing Portia to come clean about the paternity mess, so Portia should take the heat off her as best as she can.

Next, Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) will put her foot down, so she may show off her protective side when it comes to her new baby.

General Hospital Spoilers: Week of February 27 – Willow’s Last Survival Chance – Ava’s Awful Predicament – Heather’s Outburst

As for Heather Webber (Alley Mills), she’ll have a major outburst.

Now that Heather is in police custody, she may throw a fit over not being able to see her grandchild.

Other GH spoilers say Ava Jerome (Maura West) will land in an awful predicament.

Some serious legal issues could be in Ava’s future following her violent crimes on Spoon Island.

Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), on the other hand, could get a get-out-of-jail-free card thanks to Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) working his magic.

General Hospital' News: Tristan Rogers Back On GH As Robert Scorpio! | Soap Dirt

Liz will be full of gratitude for Scott after his meeting with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers).

Speaking of Robert, he’ll have a conversation with Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy), so that could involve some flirting as their romance potentially moves forward.

Meanwhile, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will offer some significant updates, so that could involve Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) bone marrow test results.

It looks like Liesl will be a donor match for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and become the life-saving hero she needs.

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will get some new hope when it comes to Willow’s recovery – and she should have Liesl to thank for it!

Over with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), he’ll put Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) in a tight spot.

General Hospital - Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) (730 x 537) (730 x 522) - Soap Opera Spy

We’ll see Dex grow nervous as he tries to keep his plot with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) under wraps.

Elsewhere, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will settle on a new theory, so he’ll work on cracking another case in Port Charles.

That could involve Dex’s agenda or perhaps a different tip that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will soon pass along.

Across town, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will lend an ear to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), who’ll complain about her romantic woes.

Brook Lynn might even admit the bind she’s in now that she’s signed Linc Brown’s (Dan Buran) contract.

Regardless, Brook Lynn will continue to pine for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), but she may worry she’s got some competition.

General Hospital - Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) - Soap Opera Spy

It seems like Brook Lynn has been rather nervous about Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattson) interest in Chase lately.

Maxie will go on a fishing expedition just before Sasha clears things up.

Maybe Sasha will assure Maxie that she only cares about Chase as a friend – and if that’s true, Maxie could help ease Brook Lynn’s mind a bit.

As for Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth), she’ll discover something sʜᴏᴄᴋɪɴɢ and react to the news.

Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) will battle her nerves in the aftermath while Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will find herself puzzled.

There have been some hints about Molly potentially being pregnant, so it’s possible Kristina will find a pregnancy test.

General Hospital' Next 2 Weeks Ahead: Spencer Exposed as Stalker - Pays Hefty Price? | Soap Dirt

That could certainly leave Molly nervous about the outcome while a baffled Alex tries to make sense of her daughter’s odd behavior.

Finally, General Hospital spoilers say Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) plan will be thwarted, so we’ll see if that involves baby drama or perhaps an effort to score alone time with Trina.

Spencer and Trina have finally kissed, but now they’ll have to figure out when and where they’ll take the next passionate step together.

Finally, Finally, *Finally*! The General Hospital Moment ‘Sprina’ Fans Have Waited For: ‘We’ve Gotta Make This Perfect’

Viewers will be on the edge of their seats…

“Sprina” fans have been waiting for months, literally, and watching and waiting and waiting for Spencer and Trina to finally give in to their feelings — and now the wait is over. In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Tabyana Ali not only previews the long-awaited kiss between her and Nicholas Chavez’s characters but the stars’ reactions at seeing the script for the first time.

“I screamed audibly,” she admitted. “I was like, ‘Oh, my God, it’s happening!’” And Chavez was right by her side reading it too and after they were done, he tested her by saying, “Oh, my God,” to which she replied, “Oh, my God.” It was then that they both agreed, “We’ve gotta make this perfect.”

In the Thursday, February 16, episode, Trina learned from her mother that Curtis could very well be her father — not Taggert — and the kiss happens while she continues reeling from the sudden news.

“She feels lied and betrayed,” Ali explained. And Spencer, knowing how it feels to be betrayed by family, does everything he can to comfort Trina — and he’s exactly who she needs, someone who can understand her.

Trina demands the truth GH

It’s no secret they have chemistry and the tension has been building between Spencer and Trina for far too long, and now that she’s seen a real change in him, well, Trina’s “wanting to be closer, wanting to be together.”

So when it came to filming the much-anticipated kiss, Ali shared, “We wanted it to be so right for the fans. We wanted it to be sweet and we wanted it to be as genuine as possible,” and she is over-the-moon excited for everyone to watch it unfold!

And we are right there with you, fans, we cannot wait!
