General Hospital Spoilers: Week of January 23 – Drew Decides Carly’s Fate – Queen Ava’s Kingdom – Nik’s Walls Closing In

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of January 23-27 tease that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will explore Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) fortress in Paris and hope to find Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring).

Anna will ultimately discover something important, but that could mean locating captive Lucy or perhaps finding out that Victor has moved her.

Of course, it’s also possible Valentin and Anna could fall into a trap, so they’ll need to be careful or else they could become captives as well!

Back in Port Charles, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will hope he can count on Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) support – perhaps in the custody battle that’s brewing with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be taken aback over Spencer’s news, so he may find out that Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) accepted his case.

Spencer will no doubt defend his desire to get custody of Nikolas and Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) baby, but Sonny may wonder if that’s really the right strategy.

Over with Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) and Ava Jerome (Maura West), they’ll bond over something they have in common.

It’ll be interesting to see if this leads to a friendship or maybe even a romance at some point.

Next, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will face a bombshell, so that could have something to do with all the Esme drama or perhaps Cameron Webber (William Lipton).

We should mention that Cameron seems poised to lash out over Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) stealing Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) away from him, so that could lead to some trouble with the law or at least a public scene.

Afterward, Dex will land on the hot seat with Sonny while Cameron tackles questions from Spencer and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).

Trina will also fret over Spencer’s motives, so she may fear he’s seeking custody of his little brother or sister for revenge.

Meanwhile, Josslyn will have a huge request for someone, so this may involve her efforts to keep the peace between Dex and Cameron.

Josslyn will later lend an ear to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), who’ll mull over the mess she made by keeping Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) biological mother a secret.

Since Josslyn tends to be in her mom’s corner, she should understand why Carly wanted to protect Willow from a mom like Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

Of course, Carly will worry about her relationship with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) since he broke things off.

Is there still a chance for Drew and Carly to repair the damage? Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) may think so since she’s set to give Drew some advice – most likely regarding his love life.

Drew will eventually open up about his feelings and set the record straight.

It sounds like Drew may want Carly to understand that he can’t tolerate any more deception in their romance, but could he still give her one more shot?

Nina will spy something that leads to a stunning discovery right around this time, so she may seethe if Carly gets Drew back and suffers no real consequences for her secret-keeping.

At Spring Ridge, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will turn to Heather Webber (Alley Miller) for her unique insight into what Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) is thinking.

Since Dante wants to wrap up this hook investigation ASAP, he’ll put Heather on a deadline when it comes to scoring information.

Dante will be fed up with stall tactics, so he’ll expect Heather to give him something he can use or else she’ll be transferred soon.

Other GH spoilers say Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McLain) will turn against Grandpa Victor and leave him disappointed.

Charlotte will finally understand how devious and dangerous Victor is, so she’ll rip into him – especially for how he’s treated Valentin.

Elsewhere, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will connect the dots, so it seems he’ll realize Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is indeed Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) mother-in-law.

Cody may figure out that Gladys is drowning in debt at Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) poker games and resolve to fix that for Sasha’s sake.

It’d be simple for Cody to influence the games in Gladys’ favor, but he’ll risk the wrath of Ms. Wu if he does!

Back with Willow, she’ll have a crucial choice to make, so this could tie in with her early baby delivery and bone marrow donor transplant.

There may be one more decision that goes along with Willow’s treatment plan.

Across town, Ava will mark her territory, so that should involve her power play for Wyndemere.

Will that be what leaves Victor livid or could his fury have more to do with Lucy or even Nikolas?

Laura’s going to deliver some terrible updates, so that could relate to Nikolas if he gets arrested or perhaps runs to avoid the cops.

It looks like Nikolas’ exit is coming up soon, so the story may take a very abrupt turn.
