Joshua Benard, Son Of GH Star Maurice Benard, Suffers Medical Crisis
Joshua Benard has checked into General Hospital as college student Adam. Now, the young actor has checked into a real emergency room after suffering a painful injury to his back.
Joshua Benard Reports He Broke His Back
“I just broke my back,” Joshua Benard posted on Twitter. Understandably, he’s in pain so the actor’s not up for revealing a lot of details but we do know that he’s not alone.
“I have the best girlfriend,” Joshua tweeted. In fact, he hasn’t lost his sense of humor either. Joshua posted a video of actor Tobey Maguire from a Spider-man movie in which his Peter Parker (AKA Spider-man) character suffered a back injury.
(The bit was an inside ‘joke’ as Maguire had suffered a back injury in real-life.)
Joshua’s social media followers expressed concern for him and his father, Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos), kept his followers updated on his son’s condition and clarified the extent of his son’s injury.
“He’s in a lot of pain 40% fracture in his back,” Maurice shared. “The positive is it could’ve been devastating [and was not].”
Concern From Co-stars and Fans
Maurice’s co-stars including Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) and Laura Wright (Carly Spencer) reached out on social media, expressing concern for Joshua and the Benard family. .
“I want to thank everybody for the kind words,” Maurice posted on his Twitter account. “Joshua he’s in good hands with his mother and his girlfriend. slowly but surely he’ll be back like Rocky Balboa.”
Maurice Benard responded directly to his TV ex-wife’s concern. “Thank you Laura…he is very strong!!!” Maurice posted.

Joshua Benard Plays GH’s Adam
Joshua last appeared on GH as Adam when he encountered Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) in a dormitory hallway at Port Charles University.
Joss was anxious to keep hidden the fact that she was giving Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) refuge after he sustained an injury while helping Anna escape from custody after she’d been framed for shooting Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). In addition to playing Adam, Joshua also played a young Sonny on GH.

General Hospital Spoilers For The Week Of January 16-20, 2023: Spencer’s Baby Plan
First, Spencer will seek some help from Diane, which will sʜᴏᴄᴋ her. General Hospital spoilers say Spencer will have the plan to take care of the unborn baby. Fans know he has been telling Esme that he is the baby’s father.
To make her believe, Spencer will now manage to get fake DNA reports. He will plan to provide a good upbringing environment for the baby. G
iven how Esme and Nikolas are, he won’t want the baby to have a chaotic childhood because of the parents.
So, he will want to prove that he is the father to take full custody of the child. Diane will warn Spencer that he is taking a risky move and might actually put himself in more trouble. In the meantime,
Ava and Victor might team up to take down Nikolas. As for Victor, he has realized that Nikolas is just a burden and nothing else. So, both of them will now make some major risky moves to take down Nikolas.
Nina Reveals The Bio Link To Willow
Further, Nina will reveal to Willow that she is her birth mother. Initially, she won’t believe it and will lash out at Nina for that. However, Nina will promise to provide her DNA proof, so she won’t have any more doubts.
Not just that, she will also reveal how Carly was sitting on this massive secret for all these months. Later, she will rush to take some medical tests and match her donor with her daughter.
Both Willow and Michael will make it clear that just because she is the mom, it doesn’t mean that they will forgive her for her past deeds.

Speaking of Carly, she will face the music now that she has come clean to everyone. Sonny will call out her lies and will accuse her of seeing revenge on Nina.

Other spoilers say Cameron will witness something really heartbreaking this week. Chances are there that he might witness Josslyn and Dex kissing each other.
