Sister Wives fans spot ‘clue’ Christine Brown isn’t ‘happy’ in her marriage to David Woolley ahead of wedding special

Christine has called David her true love despite years of a polygamist relationship with Kody Brown

FANS have shared theories that Christine Brown isn’t happy in her new marriage to David Woolley despite the positive persona she’s had on camera.

Christine Brown's wedding special airs on Sunday, January 7

The Sister Wives star’s TV wedding special airs on Sunday, January 7 and 14.

Ahead of the big event, some fans shared their skepticism over the authenticity of Christine’s new romance.

The 51-year-old and her new spouse first interacted via an online dating site in October 2022.

They met in person for the first time two months later, and by April 2023 the couple was engaged.

Christine and her husband David Woolley, 59, said “I do” on October 7, 2023, in a lavish Utah ceremony.

The reality star has regularly referred to her partner as her “soulmate” and the “love of her life”, despite her 25-year spiritual marriage to Kody Brown, 54.

However, some fans are convinced that the TV personality’s happiness is not as genuine as she claims it to be.

Some fans are skeptical of the TLC star's outward 'happiness' in her new relationship

FAN THEORIES
Several took to Reddit this week to discuss the situation ahead of TLC’s two-episode wedding special.

“I hope Christine is truly happy, but I feel like if she were really feeling protective and in love, she would guard this relationship from the public eye,” one wrote.

“Reality TV puts immense scrutiny and pressure on your very new relationship. Blows my mind that she is running head first into this and showing it all off. It’s over produced already for me, so I’m not sure I’ll end up watching it,” they explained.

“Christine is happy now, so I no longer see her as a reliable narrator; everything is going to be overhyped fluff, even if she’s lying through her teeth,” a second speculated.

“I kinda hate to see her rebounding so quickly. She just left a cult. I’m not excited,” a third confessed.

“Im interested to watch it but I will not really believe the #kingqueen # soulmate crap. Happy for Christine but she’s not an authentic personality – she’s a ‘reality tv’ character,” a fourth agreed.

“I actually find Christine quite toxic. Probably the most toxic of all 4 (ex) wives,” a fifth slammed.

Many believe Christine wouldn't be as 'public' about David if so

CHRISTINE’S FAIRYTALE
Christine married David in a fairytale ceremony at Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, Utah.

Several photos of the Sister Wives wedding were shared online after the big day, though much of the event was kept private as it was filmed for the TLC special.

About 330 guests, which included her ex-sister wife turned best friend Janelle Brown, 54, and her children, attended the wedding.

However, multiple Brown family members did not make the guest list.

To no one’s surprise, Kody, 54, and his last remaining wife Robyn, 45, were not invited to the wedding.

SURPRISE GUEST?
Even though they didn’t attend, the couple somehow made their way into Christine’s wedding spinoff.

In the preview released on Instagram, Janelle spoke about Christine and David and said: “That fact that they’re openly affectionate soothes that wound that Kody afflicted.”

Kody then appeared in the teaser and boasted: “I knew Christine and David were going to get married. The accusation that I had…”

Robyn then jumped in and said: “Aren’t we so happy for them?”

Robyn’s husband continued: “I’m just telling the whole story.”

She rolled her eyes and continued: “We’re so happy for them.”

Christine's wedding will air in a two-part special

Fans online weren’t happy to see Kody during the special.

“This little snippet shows that Kody’s ready to say something negative,” one said.

Another commentator chimed in: “Why does Kody have to be included?

“It’s Christine’s special day & including his ex-husband & his wife ruins it for the audience.”
