Christine Brown will remain a staple on Sister Wives — even though she was the first of a three-woman exodus that has left the show’s patriarch Kody Brown with only one wife.

The TikTok comes shortly after Christine uploaded her last day on set at the Flagstaff home — which had been her Sister Wives homebase for years. “This is the couch, right here, that I’ve sat on for years talking about the show and discussing my feelings,” she said, adding, “This is the last time and it’s a little bittersweet.”

There was an emphasis on “sweet,” with Christine knowing she’d no longer have to drive eight hours twice a month to film in her old neighborhood. Now, the Sister Wives plot will follow Christine on her own terms — in her own state — as she navigates her single life.

Christine ended her marriage to Kody Brown in November 2021. More recently, Janelle Brown also announced her separation from Kody, and Meri Brown confirmed that Kody ended their marriage, too. That means, Sister Wives will continue with just one wife — Robyn Brown.

TLC viewers were surprised to hear Christine share that, and when they look back on her marriage, more and more examples of Kody’s disdain stand out.

Christine shared her thoughts with listeners, as she revealed that his comments confirmed that their break-up was the right decision for her. She went on to say that once she found out Kody wasn’t attracted to her, it was like a burden was lifted off her shoulders. She told fans it was, “time to move on.”

Christine Is Over Kody’s Controlling Comments

The specific comment that woke Christine up about her troubled marriage was the one that Kody made during a September episode of Sister Wives.

He admitted that he wasn’t attracted to Christine on their wedding day back in 1994. The father of 18 revealed that he felt pressured into the union, and didn’t, “know better at the time.” While Sister Wives fans were seething with anger, Christine took the comment in stride, and started making big life decisions.

It is clear that Christine has no regrets about the end of her 25-year marriage. Sister Wives viewers have been watching Christine gracefully pull away from the sizable polygamous family, as she shared that she doesn’t want a relationship with Meri and Robyn Brown (for the time being, anyway).

Christine joyfully packed up her things and sold her Arizona home, while holding her head high. Sadly, the same cannot be said for Kody, who has been acting out like a child.

Kody is finding it hard to garner any sympathy, mostly because Sister Wives fans feel that he neglected most of his family during the worldwide pandemic.

Kody is now going through the motions of grief, while watching his ex-wife thrive. For a man who claimed not to be physically attracted to his wife, Kody is sure trying to hold onto Christine by any means necessary.

However, she is no longer letting a man control her destiny. She’s seemingly already forgotten about his cruel comments, since she is clearly having the last laugh.
