The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Wednesday, September 20 – Li Insists She’s Finn’s Mom – Deacon Panics as Hope Shows Up
The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Wednesday, September 20, teases that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) thanks Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) for acknowledging he’s changed and a good father.
Thomas gets on his knee to tell Douglas how much he loves him and how important it is to him that he believes in him.
Douglas turns to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and asks her to forgive his dad so they can be a real family.
B&B spoilers say that Thomas doesn’t want to put any pressure on Hope. He tells his son they will always be a family, even if they don’t live under one roof.
Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) stops by the cliff house to talk to John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
The concerned mother asks about Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Finn says that he calls Steffy as much as possible. He misses his family so much it hurts.
His mom complains that this is all Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) fault. Li asks when Steffy plans to come home. He isn’t sure because it’s hard to have a serious conversation with Steffy with the always around.
Lil says it’s time to ensure he gets rid of Sheila for good. She urges him not to have any contact with Sheila.
Finn says he told Steffy he would cut Sheila out of his life. He told Sheila the same. But Li doubts Sheila will walk away, suggesting it’s time to take matters into his own hands.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Lil reminds Finn that he had the opportunity to let Sheila die.
Finn claims he couldn’t let her die because that would make him a monster. Li disagrees, stating it would make him a hero.
Li believes he will lose Steffy forever if he doesn’t act now. Sheila will destroy his life, just like she destroys everything she touches.
Li informs Finn that Sheila is not his mother; she is. She’s the one who took care of him as a child. She drove him to soccer games and cared for him when he was sick. She pushed him to go to medical school. She is his mother.
Finn’s mom cannot understand why he would call Sheila “mom.” Finn offers no real answers. She urges her son to cut the cord with Sheila before it destroys his marriage.
At Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) house, he makes out with Sheila. He pulls away, saying he cannot be with her anymore. Sheila appreciates he’s trying to be a good boy but likes it better when he’s a “bad boy.”
They make out some more before Deacon sits on the couch. Sheila understands the dilemma he’s in. Deacon explains that, for the first time, he has something to lose. But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t care for her.
He worries he could lose Hope if anyone finds out about their relationship. Sheila compares his feelings for Hope to hers for Finn.
Deacon points out that there are some significant differences between Hope and Finn. Sheila shot Finn and his wife. He’s never purposely hurt Hope.
Sheila says that the shooting was an accident. She’s confident Finn will realize how much she loves him in time. Sheila is determined to be part of Finn’s life.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Sheila believes with Steffy out of the picture, Finn will embrace her into his life.
Deacon thinks Sheila needs to listen to her son and stay out of life. He thinks Sheila is asking for trouble– Finn will always pick his wife and children over her.
Sheila doesn’t accept that. She claims Steffy doesn’t love him like she does. In fact, Sheila says no one will ever love Finn as much as she does!
Deacon shares that he could lose Hope and his restaurant if the news got out about them. He asks if she wants him to lose everything important to him.
Sheila asks Deacon what he’s saying, trying to force him to say he wants to end their relationship.
Before Deacon can answer, Hope knocks on her dad’s apartment door. She turns the doorknob, which appears to be unlocked.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Deacon and Sheila panic at the thought of Hope finding the villain in his apartment.
