But, unfortunately, it didn’t work out that way. In her negotiations with the soap opera’s executives, the actress expressed her desire for more time off. But they didn’t budge!
Despite the attempt to compromise, it ultimately came down to a decision that didn’t align with Banus’s vision for her career. She even shared, “I talked to producers… and they were like, ‘Well, what can we do?’ And [I said], ‘I need to slow down. And part of that is, you know, you guys accepting this shooting schedule for me, and you won’t.”
The Days of Our Lives star knew what the right move was at that time. With unwavering conviction, she declared, “I have to respectfully bow out and say thank you, and that’s all I can do!”.
