Krista Allen leaves LA for good after facing heartbreaking firing at CBS’s Bold and the Beautiful!
As Krista Allen is no longer with Bold And the Beautiful, she is starting a new chapter in her life. And to start fresh, she is making a change in scenery. Yup, Allen officially moved out of California to settle in Georgia. Stick around to know more about it.
Why was Krista Allen fired from The Bold and the Beautiful?
Allen made her first ever daytime debut when she was re-cast for Billie Reed on Days of Our Lives, portraying the character from 1996 to 1999. Beyond soap operas, she also did primetime series such as The X-Files, Friends, CSI, Frasier, Monk, Castle, and others.
But then in December 2021, the soaps called her back and she made a comeback as Taylor Hayes on The Bold & the Beautiful. However, that came to an end too after her contract was not renewed for another year. Sadly, Allen was unceremoniously fired from the CBS soap back in October and made her final appearance in November 2023.
How she was fired left us completely shocked. In fact, no one really saw it coming. So when she revealed this shocking news at the red carpet during the Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony, that too when she was nominated for Outstanding Supporting actress, it never sat right with us.
What’s even worse was how she didn’t get a proper goodbye or farewell from the show. Although she is still hurt, she had a positive outlook towards the situation. Last time, in an interview with Deadline, she said that she was planning to move to Atlanta, Georgia. She said, “It just seemed like the perfect time to go. It’s turning the page on this really interesting chapter, and now we’re going to the next one.”

So just like she said, she has finally moved to Georgia and is settling in with a new house and a new view. On Twitter, Allen shared that she had made it to her new place. She wrote, “I’m officially a bicoastal babe now! I’ve wanted to find a place out of California for a long time. Amazing how a simple shift in perspective can make the biggest difference. Sometimes when you think you have been buried, you have actually just been divinely planted. Here’s to all my new growth fam out there! Love you!”
So glad to hear that she is happy with her new place. But sadly, she didn’t give us any pictures to obsess over. When a fan asked her how it was, she replied, “It’s super cute. A huge yard for the three pitties and the nicest neighbors! I even came home to a fully decorated Christmas tree that was set up in my living room as a welcome gift. If that’s not Southern hospitality, I don’t know what is!”
Her new place really sounds great. The actress is all set to kick back and embrace her new Georgia life while still trying to snag some works in Hollywood. She’s the living example of when one door closes, another opens, but according to her, “When this last door closed, I just went out the damn window!” Now, that’s the Krista Allen we all love!
