As Maria and Danny find themselves at odds over her former partner, Frank lends a helping hand to his old friend, DCPI Garrett Moore, when a neighbor’s car gets impounded as part of an investigation, causing unforeseen complications. After resolving the issue, Garrett is invited to share a meal with the Reagans, much to Danny’s surprise. Frank explains the significance of Garrett’s presence, hinting at another purpose beyond mere gratitude.
It turns out that Garrett is there to support another member of the Reagan family, Danny’s son, with his college presentation for a graphic arts course. Despite the family’s reservations about Sha’s artistic pursuits, Garrett assists him in preparing a mini presentation to explain his choice of medium: a comic book featuring the Reagans as superheroes.
While the family may not fully endorse Sha’s creative endeavors, they are touched by his portrayal of them as heroes. Moving forward, Garrett will continue serving at the squad’s public assist, with actor Gregory Jbara remaining an integral part of the show’s cast.
