Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that there were some marriage hints recently for Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), so we all know where this is headed! The week of October 9-13 will bring deep conversation about the future, so Stephanie and Chad will discuss their plans.

Of course, that doesn’t necessarily mean that Chad will propose immediately or that they’ll start picking out a wedding cake.

However, it does mean that Stephanie and Chad’s relationship is indeed moving in the direction of marriage so far.

Chad had a hard time moving on from Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) after she was taken from him so young and tragically.

Abigail was the love of Chad’s life, but he’s managed to find new happiness with Stephanie anyway.

Chad’s kids love Stephanie as well, so they’ve formed a sweet little family together.

It’s logical for Stephanie and Chad to start inching in the direction of tying the knot, so they may acknowledge that they’re on the same page about taking that step down the road.

If Days continues to follow up on the marriage hints, Chad will presumably pop the question at some point and make Stephanie his fiancée.

There may come a day when Chad stands at the altar and awaits Stephanie as his bride.

Naturally, that’d be the perfect time to bring Abigail back to DOOL. Could Abigail be miraculously resurrected just in time to stop Chad and Stephanie’s wedding?

It’d be a classic soap trope if Chad’s presumed deceased wife showed up to derail the marriage ceremony.

Stephanie and Chad may have to call the whole thing off once Abigail reenters the picture through some wild Days explanation.

Anyone can come back to life in Salem, so Abigail may indeed return when the time is right.

It would blow up Chad’s relationship with Stephanie since his love for her could never compete with his love for Abigail.

Then again, there’s another option if Days doesn’t plan to bring Abigail back to life just yet.

Maybe Chad could simply be haunted by visions of Abigail on his big day and call off the wedding himself.

It’s easy to imagine Chad feeling like he’s betraying Abigail in some way and announcing that he can’t marry Stephanie after all.

Chad might even get the feeling that Abigail is still out there somewhere – and if that’s the case, he could kick off a new mission to find her.
