Young & Restless Upset: Nikki May Pay a Steep Price for Victor’s Power Play, Secrets Revealed…

Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time. Fed up with his children, The Young and the Restless’ Victor turned this car around put wife Nikki in charge of Newman Media. Which may have stuck it to the bratlets but may ultimately have a side effect that he never considered, one that would have a devastating impact on his darling.

You’ll recall that in February 2013, Nikki was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, a chronic condition that can cause fatigue, vision problems, numbness, muscle spasms and weakness, mobility issues, depression, even difficulty speaking. She’s had it pretty well in check, but flareups can occur when the patient is under stress.

And come on! Can you imagine anything more anxiety-inducing than trying to ringlead the circus that is Newman Media? So the good hands into which Victor has put the company may soon be shaky hands. Not only would this have a devasting effect on Nikki, but if she keeps her deteriorating condition a secret, it could also put Newman at risk. How’s that?

Yet another potential symptom of MS is difficulty thinking and planning. One misstep on Nikki’s part could upset the whole apple cart, perhaps even leaving it vulnerable to takeover attempts by the vultures that are always circling overhead. (Lookin’ at you, Tucker, Nate, Adam, Audra… )
