The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nick & Phyllis’ Surprise Passion – Summer’s Parents Let Off Some Steam?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will remain angry with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) for all the horrible choices she’s made. Phyllis made Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) believe she was gone for good and later pushed Summer to keep secrets that have totally derailed her life….
Now Summer’s worried that her marriage to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) could be over forever, so Nick has plenty of reasons to lash out at Phyllis right now.
However, there’s a thin line between love and hate – especially on soaps when strong emotions are involved.
Despite everything, Nick is obviously glad that Phyllis is still alive.
Part of Nick will always love Phyllis since she’s the mother of his child and a former flame he remains quite attached to.
Nick and Phyllis have quite a history together, so that could be a factor in what comes next.
We also have to look at how much Nick has been through lately since his own life’s become so challenging.
When Nick went up against Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby), he feared for Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Faith Newman’s (Reylynn Caster) lives.
Nick is also facing tough Newman family-related news since Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) forced his leave of absence and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) resents him over how things went down with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
Sally’s baby loss is taking a toll on Nick as well, so his emotions are all over the place.
Nick wants to be strong for Sally, but there’s only so much one man can take before he goes off the rails.
If anyone could use an opportunity to blow off some steam, it’s Nick! The same goes for Phyllis, who’s been tense since she’s on the run from the law.
Phyllis knows how to go incognito and meet with various Genoa City residents behind closed doors.
Y&R fans know Phyllis has had secret meetings with Summer, Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) and even Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc).
It might be interesting if Nick ends up secretly meeting with Phyllis at some point, too.
It could start out as a concerned conversation about Summer, but what if these exes end up blowing off steam in a GCAC suite?
It wouldn’t be the first time Nick’s turned to Phyllis as a sizzling safety net during a crisis.
Sometimes anger and lingering love can be a passionate combination, so it’s something to keep in mind!
Nick will want to help Summer in the coming episodes, so that could include arranging a meeting with Phyllis somehow and pushing her to turn herself in.
