Days of Our Lives Review: Week of April 24 – Harris Is a Flop – Eric & Nicole’s Wild Fantasy – Gabi Finally Free of Li
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers review for the week of April 24-28 reveals that some big romantic developments played out for several characters. For starters, we should talk about that wet and wild fantasy that Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) had in their separate showers.
That steamy DOOL scene was very well-done and served as a great way to show off that familiar “Ericole” chemistry.
It also let fans know that Eric and Nicole absolutely aren’t over each other, which will no doubt be important as we enter the next phase of their Days story.
Another pro for the week was Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) finally ending his marriage to Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus).
This whole thing has gone on a bit too long, so it was nice to see Li take off his wedding band and accept that Gabi will never love him back.
Gabi’s heart belongs to Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), so we’re thrilled over the news that she’s finally free!
Of course, Gabi missed out on Li’s DiMera shares, but she hasn’t given up her desire for power and intends to climb the corporate ladder with Stefan soon enough.
In the meantime, Stefan and Gabi made a big announcement about moving back in the DiMera mansion, which clearly didn’t go over well with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).
That decision will set the stage for another round of brother hostility, but at least Stefan will have Gabi right there to scheme alongside him.
Days spoilers say both Gabi and Nicole will play key roles in the next phase of EJ and Stefan’s war, so stick with us for updates on the conflict ahead.
As for what happened in Greece during the week of April 17-21, it was time to call time of death on Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) and Hope Williams Brady’s (Kristian Alfonso) failure of a romance.
Let’s face it: the character of Harris is a flop.
There’s arguably no chemistry between Hope and Harris – nor is there anything interesting about Harris’ personality that’d make us root for him.
Harris’ Days storyline was supposed to be about redemption, but then he covered up Bo Brady’s (Peter Reckell) survival the first chance he got.
Although Harris ultimately corrected his mistake, he made an even bigger one by sending Hope to Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) childhood home without any kind of explanation or warning.
Now Hope has come face to face with Bo, but she’s about to land in grave danger – and that’s Harris’ fault for sending her into the arms of a brainwashed man who’s armed and dangerous!
Bottom line, it was good to hear Harris say goodbye to Hope since this romance never worked to begin with.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Harris will deliver an apology to Hope once disaster strikes, so stay tuned.
