The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, March 18, reveal that Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) could put Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) on the spot. After latching onto Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) as his funny new friend, Harrison may vote for her to be his nanny replacement.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) might think that’s a marvelous idea since Claire is so good with children, but she hasn’t given Kyle and Summer all the info they need to make this decision.
It wasn’t that long ago that Claire was helping lunatic Jordan (Colleen Zenk) force vodka into Grandma Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) system, so any decent parent would have some concerns if they heard that.
Of course, Victoria will gloss over Claire’s past and act like Jordan was the real problem, but Summer and Kyle still need to be careful if they’re going to entrust their child to someone who just did a psych ward stint.
That’s why Summer will resolve to dig into the full Claire story and find out what really went down.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) might become Summer’s main source for what happened in Oregon – and once Summer learns the whole truth, she may have a huge problem with putting Claire on nanny duty.
Naturally, Kyle might be more willing to have compassion and point out that Claire was well enough to be released.
This could turn into a parental dilemma if Kyle thinks Claire deserves a chance to prove herself while Summer holds her ground.
Whatever the case, it’ll take some time for Summer to gather Claire intel, so she may just resolve to look into things for now.
Other Y&R spoilers say Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will have a weird encounter with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) at Society, where she’ll refer to him as “bro” and offer clues about her alternate personality.
Billy will seem suspicious as he questions Ashley, but she’ll inevitably downplay any issues he’s picking up on and argue that she’s doing better than ever.
Perhaps Billy will eventually compare notes with Kyle and get updates on Ashley not remembering what grade Harrison was in.
That news could fuel Billy’s fears even further and leave him wondering what’s going on.
The Abbotts may soon have a family meeting to discuss Ashley’s mental state and offer predictions on her going off the rails if they don’t intervene.
