Justin had some bad news for Brady and Theresa on Days of our Lives: Tate’s appeal failed, and he was going to have to remain in jail, among adults. Brady was furious. Theresa was furious. But the really furious one was Alex Kiriakis. He announced that this was all Justin’s fault. Tate needed to be represented by a shark. Justin is fired! Oh, yeah? Alex can’t fire Justin — he quits! That’s fine by Alex!
On The Couch: Alex Kiriakis
We understand that he is sleeping with Theresa (Emily O’Brien) and wants to come off as a big shot. But even that wasn’t a good enough reason for how brutally he attacked Justin (Wally Kurth). We think we know the real reason. And we’re plopping Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) down on our couch so he can know it, too.
Seduced and Abandoned
Only a few weeks ago, Alex learned that Justin isn’t his biological father. Victor (John Aniston) was. Alex pretended to be cool with it. Having Victor as his newfound Papa means more money. Yay! Alex loves money! And he got a company to run. Yay! Alex loves power. This is all good news. Alex is so, so happy about the entire thing.
Me Thinks Thou Doth Protest Too Much
Obviously, Alex is not happy about the whole thing. Alex is absolutely devastated. And since he can’t blame his late mother, Anjelica (Morgan Fairchild), or the equally dead Victor, that only leaves Justin. Alex grew up thinking Justin was his father. Dads are supposed to not just love, not just nurture, but to protect their children. Justin failed to protect Alex from feeling as devastated as he does now. But Alex can’t tell Justin that. Because it makes no sense.
Transformers
But Alex can yell at Justin for failing to protect Tate (Jamie Martin Mann). Yeah, this is totes about Tate. This isn’t about Alex at all. Justin didn’t do anything he could for, uh, Tate. Justin let down, uh, Tate. Yeah. Tate. Alex is mad about Tate. Nothing else.
